I'd suggest taking a closer look at the map on this page as that shows precisely where the walk starts, and also the road numbers etc to take to get here. Its possible to zoom out from the map to get a wider view by clicking the + button the map - that might help put the location of the walk in the right context. I haven't been on any of their outings myself, so can't comment on how child friendly they are I'm afraid. There are some local walking clubs in Dublin/Wicklow:
